Nehu Single Bend Hybrid Paddle |
Availability: In stock
Take The Bait
The Nehu, or Hawaiian Anchovy, was a bait fish used to catch Tuna in the days of hook and pole commercial fishing in Hawaii. The lure of the Nehu is its thin, sleek blade. It enters the water with stealth and power that allows you to stay ahead of those big fish.
How to SIZE YOUR OUTRIGGER Paddle
Use the chart to help you determine what length paddle might be best for you. The following are some things to take into consideration:
- If you have broader than average shoulders, go to the high end of the range.
- If you have a longer torso than average for your height, go to the high end of the range.
- When ordering a paddle to be used with a one or two person canoe, go to the middle or low end of the range. (Most people use a shorter paddle in a one person versus a six-person canoe.)
- Remember, these are general guidelines so please take into account your personal preferences

Great paddle with smooth entry and solid feel!!!
Got this paddle for use on my OC-1. I love it. It cuts into the water so smoothly then grabs effortlessly. Solid feel and no wobble. I have the white tapa pattern which seems to attract honu when resting over a reef. Just leave the paddle in the water and they come up to see what it is. Sweet!!!Review by Berney

I haven't put it down since.
I love the Nehu. It's light, 'grabs' nicely, and was a pleasure to use during our last race when I stroked. I would certainly recommend this paddle to anyone looking for a well balanced paddle.Review by Matthew

My favorite oc paddle
Instantly liked the way the paddle felt when I first tried it. Has a nice clean catch and release, and offers the perfect amount of surface volume for maximum power output. It's my go to paddle for everything really. If you're looking for the best all around paddle, I highly recommend the nehuReview by Sean P from Guam

Never Let me Down
This was my first paddle purchase. I bought it because I decided to "get serious" with my paddling and I didn't want a paddle that had too wide or too small of a blade face. I bought it about two years ago and it has been very good to me. This paddle is very versatile. I have used it for both sprint and distance races while sitting various seats, but mainly one (stroker). It catches nicely and is very light, which helps me apply more power and speed to my stroke. Love it!Review by Elizabeth
