I bought this paddle two months ago as an all-arounder and it fits perfectly. The lever lock adjustment system is way easier to use then the screw ring type which I see constantly locking up at the beach from a little sand in them. It really shines when I'm casually paddling down the ocean front and see an active break. The adjustment is effortless and extremely fast which allows me to shorten it quickly to "surf" length and grab a few rides! And the adjustment range is much broader then a lot of the competitions offerings so it fits my needs at 5'11" all the way down to my 7 year old daughter at 4'4". I have even loaned it out to a friend for a race day because his more expensive paddle had a little too much blade and was aggravating his shoulder. The smaller blade allowed him a higher tempo and he didn't have any problem with noticeable blade flutter.
