Live Like You PaddleHawaiian Values T-ShirtsTo give back to our community, seven years ago we started a student paddle scholarship, giving away 10 paddles a year. Scholarship applicants are asked to show, tell or write about Hawaiian values and how those values apply to paddling and to their everyday lives.
We've been so moved by students' submissions that we decided to reflect these ideals with our Hawaiian Values T-Shirts, portraying Laulima (cooperation) and Lokahi (unity). These Hawaiian words express values that are central to both the Hawaiian culture and to paddling. The back of each shirt ties it all together with the phrase "Live Like You Paddle."
