Fanny Oronos

Fanny ORONOS, 23 years old, is part of our team, here, at Sunshort St-Tropez. A wondeful ambassador of the stand up paddle, is one of the terms that come to mind when you watch and get to know Fanny.

Originally from Bask Counrtry, she spent her very young years learning to surf in St-Jean-de-Luz bay, before moving to Bordeaux, to follow her Master degree. She is focused on a present in the prestigious Quiksilver surf/SUP school, she has made it paddle her passion.

A few of Fanny’s notable accomplishments include a participation at the prestigious French SUP championship, at Bisacarosse, Landes beach, on 2009 summer. Not only a great woman in SUP wave events, she will also prove herself in open ocean racing.

With her daily physical training regime in and out of the water, she is well on her way to being the first and the only girl racer invited to the 20 km downwind challenge Hulinokea , in Socoa (France), on 2010 summer. When she isn’t on a stand up paddle board, you can find Fanny on a longboard, an ocean outrigger, or skiing, dry land training.
